George Schneider’s professional journey is marked by over three decades of experience, including a successful career in real estate and the ownership and operation of a private Canadian corporation. This diverse background uniquely positions him to understand the intricate dynamics of running a business and the complexities faced by employees and employers alike. Many of his current and former clients consider George one of the best employment lawyers in Ontario.

George is a proud graduate of the J.D. program at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, where he honed his legal skills and cultivated a passion for advocating for his clients. Prior to starting his own firm, George worked for a top-tier employment law firm in Toronto where he solidified his reputation as a trusted legal advisor.​

With extensive experience appearing before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, Shira has built a reputation for her aggressive defense of clients’ rights and her commitment to fostering transparent, supportive client relationships. Ruben Perez

Ruben Perez is a highly skilled Ontario employment lawyer. With a deep understanding of workplace rights and employment litigation, Ruben is dedicated to securing the best possible outcomes for his clients facing wrongful dismissal, workplace harassment, employment contract disputes, and other labour law matters. 

Ruben holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, a Master’s Degree from Université d’Artois in France, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Concordia University. His diverse background in higher education, not-for-profit organizations, and politics has equipped him with strong advocacy skills, allowing him to effectively represent employees and professionals in complex legal disputes.

Ruben is actively engaged in the legal community and has held leadership positions within the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) and the Ontario Bar Association (OBA). He previously served as Chair of the CBA Student Section and as a Board Member of the Ontario Bar Association, playing a key role in shaping legal policies. Currently, Ruben sits on multiple national committees of the CBA, contributing to reforms in articling requirements and judicial residency requirements.

Before joining Beyond Employment Law, Ruben worked at a large Ontario corporation, where he honed his skills in employment litigation and legal strategy. He is committed to protecting employees’ rights and providing strong legal representation to individuals facing workplace disputes, severance negotiations, and employment contract reviews.

Fluent in French and Hebrew, Ruben is passionate about serving clients from diverse backgrounds and helping them navigate employment law challenges with confidence.​​​ Ruben enjoys reading, singing, community advocacy, continuous learning, exploring the city and collecting scotch whisky.
